Normal Hermit Behavior?

I recently bought two hermit . Ting Lee and Skid lol. Ting Lee is more lively and comes out of his shell when I take him out and tries to run around more. Skid when I first got him wouldnt come out. That night though I had him on my bed and he came out and was walking but was alittle skiddish (i know its skittish lol i think) and so me and bf called him skid lol. Skid likes to be under the forrest bedding part of tank all the time. I saw him last night in the food bowl but I dont know if he was eating. I see him move alittle, but rarely. They both are always under the bedding side. At night the tank is trashed and Tinglee goes behind the wire climb thing lol and Skid is usually just under the dirt. Is this normal behavior? Could he be molting?
