If you could make ~10 cents per pound on your biodegradable trash, would you be motivated to segregate it?
There’s such a big focus on conserving energy in the media lately, yet I don’t see major sources of energy being utilized in ways that they could be. What if your local waste management companies began to utilize your biodegradable trash to create ethanol fuel? Your trash should be considered a source of income. It’s a valuable source of energy. If you could make money from your bio-trash, would you be willing to segregate it into a separate pile?
